Friday 2nd April 2027
Everything happens at the castle and in its grounds, so once you have arrived there is nowhere else to be.
The Dress Code
Early April in Herefordshire can be bright or biting, and part of the day is outdoors — a warm layer under the finery is never a bad idea.
Eastnor, near Ledbury
Eastnor Castle sits in a deer park below the Malvern Hills, a few miles east of Ledbury.
Eastnor Castle
Eastnor, near Ledbury
Herefordshire

The castle is signposted from the A438 east of Ledbury. TODO: which entrance to use and where to turn in.
Parking is at the castle and free. Cars cannot be left overnight, though, so if you plan to drink, take the coach or book a taxi home. TODO: confirm the overnight rule with the castle.
A free coach will run between the local hotels and the castle, with seats for 80. Ask for a seat when you RSVP and we will hold one for you.
TODO: which hotels it calls at, and the pick-up and return times.
Ledbury is the nearest station, about two and a half miles away, on the line between Hereford and Great Malvern, with connections from Birmingham and London Paddington via Worcester or Newport.
It is a short taxi ride from the station — book ahead for the journey home, as cars are thin on the ground late at night.
Birmingham and Bristol are the closest large airports, with Heathrow a longer but simpler run for anyone flying in from further afield.
TODO: confirm which airport you want to recommend, and rough driving time.
The firms Eastnor Castle recommends. Worth booking your journey home before the day — local cars get busy, and mobile signal at the castle is not reliable.
Where to sleep
Please book your own room — there is no block held, so the nearer places do go early. This is Eastnor Castle’s own list of what is close by, with distances from the castle gates.
A coach will run to and from the local hotels, free and with room for 80 people. Say yes to a seat when you RSVP and we will hold you one. TODO: which hotels it calls at, and the pick-up and return times.

How we got here
TODO: how you met — a paragraph in your own voice.
TODO: the proposal, or whatever you would rather tell instead.
TODO: why Eastnor.
Very kind of you to ask
Your being there is the present. We have everything we need for a home, and would far rather spend the day with you than unwrap anything.
TODO: if you would like to mention a honeymoon fund or a charity, the wording goes here — otherwise delete this line.
TODO: registry or fund link, if any
By the first of December
Your invitation carries a short code — enter it below, then tell us the rest. It takes a minute.
Your reply is safely with us.
Anything else
Your invitation names everyone we have space for. If it says "and guest", we would love to meet them — add their name to your RSVP. TODO: confirm the wording you want here.
TODO: children welcome all day, evening only, or an adults-only celebration.
Doors open at 12:30pm and the ceremony starts at 1:30pm, so please arrive in good time for a glass and a seat. Evening guests, your arrival is 6:30pm. TODO: what happens if someone arrives late for the ceremony.
TODO: which parts are outdoors, and the wet-weather plan. Early April can be cold, so bring something warm whatever the forecast says.
There is free parking at the castle, but cars cannot stay overnight. If you would rather not drive, take the coach or book a taxi — the numbers are under Travel. TODO: confirm the overnight rule with the castle.
TODO: unplugged ceremony or not, and whether there is a hashtag or shared album.
It is a historic house, so there are steps and gravel in places. We would much rather sort things out in advance than have anyone struggle on the day: tell us what you need in your RSVP, or email us, and we will arrange it with the castle. TODO: confirm step-free routes and accessible parking with the castle.
A free coach runs between the local hotels and the castle — ask for a seat when you RSVP, while there are still some of the eighty left. Otherwise, book a taxi in advance: Richard James and G&T Private Hire in Ledbury, Pitstop Travel and Colin Smith in Malvern.
There is no room block, so please book your own. Accommodation lists everything near the castle with distances — Ledbury is closest, and the self-catering places in Eastnor itself are within walking distance of the gates. The nearer beds go early.
By the first of December, please — the caterers ask early. Reply now while you are thinking about it.
If in doubt
Anything at all — travel, timings, what to wear. We would far rather you asked.
